The primary objective of the Lakshmir Bhandar project is to empower women in West Bengal by providing them with monthly financial assistance. Lakshmi Bhandar News – লক্ষ্মীর ভাণ্ডার প্রকল্প খবর

The West Bengal government has further strengthened the financial assistance to women in the Lakshmir Bhandar scheme. Now, regular female beneficiaries will be given an additional amount of ₹1,000 per month, which will be in addition to the existing ₹1,000–₹1,200. This announcement was made by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in January 2025.

In addition, it was informed in the Assembly that women above 60 years of age, who have been beneficiaries of Lakshmir Bhandar, are now also getting the benefit of ₹1,000 monthly pension under the Old Age Pension Scheme. So far, an amount of ₹63,615 crore has been distributed to a total of 2.2 crore women beneficiaries under this scheme.

However, no official increase has been announced in the state budget 2025‑26. But political analysts say that there are chances of increasing the amount before the assembly elections (2026). The government has reserved the right to update the Laxmi Bhandar till now.

Laxmi Bhandar Form Online Apply – লক্ষ্মীর ভাণ্ডার প্রকল্প

1. First of all, go to the Social Security Laxmi Bhandar official website.
2. After that, click on the Lakshmir Bhandar portal or “Duare Sarkar”.
3. Click on the Lakshmi Bhandar Portal and log in with your mobile number.
4. After logging in, the Laxmi Bhandar form will open.
5. Fill in all the information asked on the Lakshmi Bhandar form carefully.
6. After that, upload all the required documents.
7. After filling out the form, check it once again and submit it.
8. After submitting, you will get an application number. Keep it safe.

Offline Lakshmir Bhandar Form 2025

• Visit your nearest Duare Sarkar Camp or BSK centre.
• Get the Laxmi Bhandar Yojana application form from there.
• The form is given free of cost.
• Fill in the required information in the form correctly, such as name, address, age, etc.
• Attach the following documents with the filled form: Aadhar Card, Residence Certificate, Caste Certificate, etc.
• Submit the filled form along with all the documents to the BSK officer.
• The officer will check the form and document.
• An acknowledgement slip or acknowledgement number will be given after submitting the application.

There are three ways for the Laxmi Bhandar status check. We are going to tell you about them.

Method 1: Through the official portal

1. First, open the Lakshmir Bhandar Portal: https://socialsecurity.wb.gov.in
2. Go to the homepage and click on the “Track Application” or “Applicant Login” option.
3. Now, a page will open, Laxmi Bhandar Status Check With Application ID.
4. After this, enter the CAPTCHA Code and click on “Submit” or “Check Status”.
5. Your application status will appear on the screen.

Method 2: From BSK or the Duare Sarkar Centre

• You can check the Lakshmir Bhandar status by visiting your nearest Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK) or Duare Sarkar Camp.
• The staff present there will remove the status from the portal for you.

Method 3: Through Mobile App

1. Download the Duare Sarkar App or the Banglarbhumi App.
2. After logging in, you can check the status related to “Lakshmir Bhandar” by going to the “Scheme Status” section.
