మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం Objectives

The main objective of the Mahalakshmi Scheme Telangana, is to make women financially strong and give them regular financial support for household requirements. This scheme is a step towards empowering the women of Telangana on the lines of initiatives like Lakshmir Bhandar.

Main objectives:

1. To provide cash assistance of ₹2,500 every month to women.
2. To provide relief in kitchen expenses by reducing the cost of domestic gas.
3. To provide a free travel facility to women in public buses.
4. To target poor and middle-class women.

Eligibility Criteria For మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం

• The female applicant must be a permanent resident of Telangana state.
• The woman must be at least 18 years of age or above.
• The applicant’s family must have a white ration card (BPL card).
• An active bank account in the name of the woman is mandatory.
• The woman should not be employed in any government service.

Components Of Telangana Mahalakshmi Scheme

There are 3 major parts of the మహాలక్ష్మి పథకం, which are described below.

Cash assistance of ₹2,500 per month:

This amount will be sent to the bank account of eligible women through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). This amount can be used for running the house, children’s education, health or other needs.

LPG cylinder for ₹500:

An LPG cylinder will be made available to women for ₹500 under the subsidy. For example, if the market price of the cylinder is ₹1,100, then the government will give a subsidy of ₹600.

Free bus service:

All women of the state will get the facility of free travel in TSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation) buses. This will greatly benefit girl students, working women, and housewives.

• After that, click on the option of “Mahalakshmi yojana”.
• Go to the new registration and register.
• After registration, log in.
• Now the application form will open with you.

• Apply by clicking on the submit button.

1. Visit the Mee Seva Kendra or Women Welfare Office.
2. Get the Mahalaxmi Yojana application form.
