Objectives Of MMUA Assam List
The objective of the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan (MMUA Assam List) is focused on the overall development and welfare of women, like the Mahtari Vandana Yojana. The aim is to make the women of the state financially strong and provide them with self-employment opportunities. Under this scheme, women will be given financial assistance to start small industries, businesses or enterprises.
Along with this, women will also be provided training, skill development and guidance for business operations so that they can become self-reliant.
Eligibility Criteria For Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Assam state.
- Only women can take advantage of this scheme.
- Women with a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum age of 55 years are eligible.
- The applicant should be from an economically weaker section (EWS) or a BPL family.
- Women associated with the Self Help Group will get priority.
- The applicant should not be associated with any government job or big business.
- There is no requirement for a minimum education, but there should be the ability to make a business plan/project.
- The woman should not have already received major financial assistance under any other similar government scheme.

- First of all, visit the official website of the Assam Government.
- Click on “Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan” scheme on the homepage.

Procedure Of Selection MMUA Assam List
- First of all, applications are received, online or offline.
- After the application is submitted, the concerned district administration and the Women and Child Development Department check all the documents.
- After verification, a provisional list of eligible women is prepared.
- If any woman has an objection to not finding her name in the list, she can file a complaint within the time limit.
- After settling the objections, the Final Beneficiary List is released.
- The women included in the final list are given an amount of ₹10,000 as the first instalment directly in their bank accounts through DBT.
