Objectives Of the PM Internship Yojana (पीएम इंटर्नशिप योजना)

This scheme aims to connect the youth with government initiatives like Digital India, Startup India and Skill India so that they can play an active role in the socio-economic development of the country. Like the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme, this scheme also provides an opportunity to empower the youth, give them business opportunities and understand the depth of governance.

Eligibility Criteria Of Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme

Here is the PM Internship scheme 2025 eligibility criteria:

• Applicants should be Indian citizens.
• The minimum age should be 18 years. The maximum age limit may vary as per the department.
• Applicant should be pursuing graduation, post-graduation or professional course from a recognised university/institute.
• Final year students can also apply.

Internship Duration Of The PM Internship Scheme

PM Internship Scheme 2025 Registration

1. First of all, go to the PM internship portal: PM Internship mca.gov in
2. Click on the “Register Now” button and register a new one.
3. Create an account by entering your name, mobile number, email ID and a strong password.
4. Do OTP verification and complete the registration.
5. After logging in, fill in your profile information.
6. Upload resume & passport-size photo.
7. Go to the homepage and search for internships as per the ministry/department in the “Available Internships” section.
8. Using the filter option, you can choose the internship according to your choice.
9. Click on the desired internship and press the “Apply Now” button.
10. Write or upload a cover letter.
11. Complete the application by pressing the submit button.
12. After applying, you get confirmation of the application via email/portal.
13. If selected, the department informs you through email or call.
14. Sometimes, an online test or interview can also be taken.
